Founded in 1996, Clapstem Productions is a dynamic production company based in Mumbai, Delhi, and London, dedicated to creating impactful feature films, web content, and television series that resonate with global audiences. Over the years, Clapstem has developed a robust portfolio, producing more than 1500 hours of both fiction and non-fiction television content. Our commitment to originality drives us to explore a wide range of genres, including drama, crime, history, humor, and travel, ensuring that every project captivates and engages viewers. We actively seek out intelligent, thought-provoking scripts and collaborate with talented filmmakers, both locally and internationally, to co-produce compelling films and web series.
Specializing in line production, Clapstem is equipped to handle projects across the globe, providing comprehensive solutions to meet the unique needs of each production. Our partnerships with tourism boards and film councils further enhance our capability to deliver creative and logistical support.
Under the leadership of Managing Director Mr. Girish Malik, an acclaimed writer and director known for his films Jal (Water) and Torbaaz, Clapstem Productions continues to innovate and push the boundaries of storytelling. Our special division focuses on script development, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of the industry.
At Clapstem, we believe that content is king. Our vision is to engage audiences through brilliant commercial movies and web series while nurturing the rich tapestry of Indian culture and artistic cinema on the international stage.
We have identified & planned to develop business opportunities in all the key segments
Clapstem has produced and directed over three thousand hours of television software. Dabbling with genres ranging from fiction to reality to sport-based shows like Rural Sports of India, we have made many short films on themes like women convicts, Indian army missions since 1947 etc.
A few of the projects that have gone on air in Indian Television are, Rishtey – 35 one hour telefilms on love in its various forms, Mission Fateh – a mega-show on the heroes of the Indian Army and their missions, Aao Behen Chugli Karen, a comedy series centered around a group of women living in an apartment block and Kuch Love Kuch Masti – a daily series based on the lives of three new-age Indian women living life on their own terms and a music video for the Sahara Parivar, featuring Mr. and Mrs. Subroto Roy.

Television
television Productions
Clapstem is currently producing a reality and research based show on haunted places in India, called Haunted Hai . This show deals with one haunted location and three contestants who explore the location in the night, alone. Along with this show, another project of ours Comedy King Con, adapted from a German comedy gag-based reality show, is going on the floors soon. Another huge reality show never seen before on Indian Television called – ‘The Great Indian Hero’ is going to hit the Indian television soon.
Apart from these, Clapstem has also signed deals and acquired various international formats and content from Germany, France, Phillippines and North America. It is developing some incredible and one of their kinds telenovellas and reality shows.
Clapstem Productions has produced the following programmes in the past.

ASIA
SHOOT IN ASIA
Our new venture - SHOOT IN ASIA is an Indo-Singapore collaboration to bring Indian filmmakers to film their feature length movies, television series, and reality shows, music videos and advertisements in Singapore. This initiative aims to provide the filmmakers with one-stop facilitation to produce their works in one of the hottest new filming destinations. This includes investment and function as a co production partner. SHOOT IN ASIA is brought to you by Clapstem Productions (India) and CLAPSTEM UDC(Singapore).
